painterly-v1
adopted 2026-07-10
The first shipped style: painterly fantasy card-game illustration with dramatic directional light, a committed palette and full-bleed framing. Per-deck flavour arrived as a palette-plus-motif suffix (the STORM / TIDE era). Superseded by the poster packs for new work, but kept selectable forever — decks shipped under it still match it.

poster-v1
adopted 2026-07-11
Probe-validated flat-ink screen-print poster illustration (gig-poster school): 3-4 flat spot-color inks on warm cream paper, flat background fields, gestural linework, halftone grain, dramatic negative space. Per-deck flavour is a thin ink-plus-motif overlay on the shared base block.

poster-v2
adopted 2026-07-15
poster-v1's rendering plus the art-direction layer that sits ABOVE the style block: a shot-type list applied as a hard filter, effect-first framing (illustrate the consequence or the item, not a character performing it) and the restraint rule (one focal point, everything else collapses to flat fields). This is the default pack for new work.
