painterly-v1
The first shipped style: painterly fantasy card-game illustration with dramatic directional light, a committed palette and full-bleed framing. Per-deck flavour arrived as a palette-plus-motif suffix (the STORM / TIDE era). Superseded by the poster packs for new work, but kept selectable forever — decks shipped under it still match it.

Guard rules
Quirk countermeasures, learned from real runs and carried as pack data rather than code. Each one exists because a specific thing went wrong; the reason is part of the pack.

Keep signature objects simple and state them early. |
